Alexander Landerman’s New Works

These animal-focused illustrations are done on Strathmore 400 series Bristol Board using Sumi ink. The wood type is printed using a Vandercook 325g proofing press in the Indiana University Letterpress Studio. The Vandercook 325g is currently my favorite press for the purpose of creating these artworks due to its large press bed.

The majority of the work was created at Alderworks Alaska and Azule artist residency programs. The type was printed in the Indiana University Letterpress Studio. Alderworks is one of the best programs I have ever participated in and I strongly recommend any artist apply to the program.
